We offer a variety of group classes for all ages. From our tiny firebirds, to our garage tots, teens, and adults. Detroit Body Garage has a class for you.

The Detroit Body Garage Coaching staff is the best in Detroit! With a wide range of specialties our coaches will help you find your footing in class. Whether you are jumpstarting your fitness routine or ready to accelerate your training, we have a coach for you.
Can I bring my child with me to class?We are a family friendly gym and offer several weekly opportunities for you to work out with your little ones. To get your sweat in while your kids play, sign up for a Firebirds class. To let your little ones (age 3-5) get some afternoon energy out check out our Garage Tots class. All other classes are better suited for adults/teens only and we do not offer childcare.
I'm new and not sure where to start!You are in luck! Detroit Body Garage is an excellent place to get started on your movement journey! Our coaches are skilled at helping beginners find their footing so that you can feel confident in any class. We recommend beginners start out with our Detroit Body Garage class or our mechanics class! You can find out class listings here!
Where do I park?You can park directly in front of the gym! If all spots are full, you can park on Mack or Fischer and walk in! We always recommend that you not leave valuables in your car and be sure to lock your doors!
Does the gym have showers?Yes! We have a shower available for post class clean up. We do not provide towels or shower products so bring along your favorite with you if you plan to use the shower post class!
I don't feel comfortable in a group class do you offer private sessions?Yes, our coaches offer private sessions. Feel free to reach out to a coach directly or via email and we will do our best to facilitate! Email us at email@example.com
What should I wear to class?Wear comfortable clothes that you feel good getting sweaty in. During the winter months the garage is heated so layers are great and we ask that you bring indoor shoes to work out in that can be changed into before entering the workout space. During the summer months we roll up the garage doors so we recommend wearing gear that feels good and using layers to remove as needed.
